Hey guys,
Wow, it's been almost a month since I came on. It feels like twenty four hours not twenty-eight days!
Sadly, all the stuff in my last entry is still pretty much the same stuff I'm doing now. Babysitting my foster sis (she's great BTW, a total gem!), writing (I've got my butt in and finished heaps, still have a tone to go though :/), editing Prism of Colours (going great) and learning to drive (just hit my twenty hour mark!).
Brought my own laptop on Wednesday. A small 1.1kg EEE PC. It was worth $800 but I got it for $500 on sale. It has Internet and everything. :D I love it.
Going to my brother and sis-in-laws at Christmas, which should be fun. My sis-in-law only has the public holidays off cause she just started at Westpac full time but we'll still get to see her :D
I gotta go. I wanna write a chapter before we go pick up my FS (Foster sister).
Be good, have fun and keep safe.

Fostering, Driving, Writing and TWLOHA
Hello all,
I wont apologise again for not posting as often as I promised I would because I'm sure you all understand, life gets busy when you least expect it to.
Last week we were told of our first foster child (my mum and step-dad are foster parents), I can't say too much but I can say shes five months old and totally gorgeous. Today she comes to us until February.
Another thing keeping me busy has been writing. I've been trying so hard to get all my short stories finished but it's difficult when you have so much on your mind. I really need to get stuck in and just finish them. I know I wont finish them by January though. Which kinda sucks but there isn't a lot you can do about it.
Also, there's my driving. So far I've done about twelve hours. I'm really impressed with myself about how I've handled all these new and freaky things. I mean, when I get into a car to drive, I'm in control - everything I do or don't do could potentially hurt someone. But I can say I've had a lot of fun, which I predicted. I have someone shouting in my ear the whole time which totally bugs me ha-ha but I figure they're just trying to help. I can understand that being in the car with a learner is probably scary ha-ha. Like the other day I was trying to reverse park, one of the first times I'd ever tried it and I totally stuffed up and Mum got cranky at me. Experienced drivers forget what it's like to learn how to drive. They just know how easy it is for them and they're like do this - do that but when you try it, the result is the opposite to what it should be. I guess I don't like being told how to do something a hundred and twenty times just because I did something wrong, you know?
I've printed out 'Prism Of Colours', you know the book I'm writing? Anyway, I'm going to go through it and edit it. I'll add to it as well and stuff, make it longer etc. I've also come up with a new idea for a novel to write after I finish this one. It requires extensive research into the para-normal and mental disorders but I'm up for the challenge. Not that I really need another challenge right now, ha-ha. But yeah, I'm not going to write it until I finish 'Prism Of Colours'.
On the Thirteenth of November I'd like for everyone to write the word 'Love' on their arm. It's to show support for To Write Love On Her Arms, a non for profit organisation that helps people going through depression, addiction and self harm. I know they'd appreciate your support.
That's all I have to say for today.
Be good, have fun and keep safe.

Driving, babysitting and Twilight
Hey every body,
How are you all? I'm good. A little tired but good. I'm doing more driving later :) I look forward to it now. I'm a lot more confident now I know the basics. I've done five hours total. So one hundred and fifteen to go, hahahaha!
I babysat last Saturday like I said I was going to. The eldest one started carrying on and screamed every time I went near him so for the first time ever I called mum and got her to come over. She helped me by consoling him while I looked after the 17 month old. She ended up staying until the parents come home which I was grateful for :)
Do any of you like the Twilight Saga? Do you like talking about it?
Well go here: http://twilight101.forumotions.com/ . I'm moderator and this forum has only just started. We're lacking in members who actually talk, so come on by and check it out. Thank you :D
I'm gonna go now.
Be good, have fun and keep safe.

Busy, busy, busy
Hello everybody,
I am mega sorry I haven't posted for two weeks. My time has been filled with various things.
Firstly, I had my first driving lesson last Friday. It was interesting. She had me doing corners which was freaky. Some technique called the push and pull or something, even Mum said it was hard. I don't usually have to think where I put my hands when I do something but doing this I have to put my hands in a certain place and she was constantly correcting me. I did it right maybe five times out of twenty-thirty. And today I went for a one hour drive to practice steering. Only one hundred and eighteen hours of driving to go before I can go for my P plates ha ha.
Secondly, I put up flyer's to do more babysitting so I can pay for my rego next year. I had one job last Saturday and I have another this Saturday - so they're proving to be a good idea but they do take up time.
And thirdly, I have a heap of little writing to do by the end of the year and I'm trying to get them done. It's not an easy task cause I have about forty chapters to write and I have a couple of stories going with a friend.
I'm trying so hard not to exhaust myself so I can do all this stuff. Don't get me wrong, it's great to be busy with babysitting and stuff but after not being in the business for a couple of months, it's tiring. Last Sunday, I was yawning every five minutes and that job only went until midnight.
I'm gonna head off and do some other stuff.
Be good, have fun and keep safe.

Time Travel and My Car
Hey all,
I know I've talked about this before but today it really hit home how fast time actually goes. On Thursday my friends are having their year twelve graduation! Before we know it, it will be their university graduations! It's terrifying.
I feel like I'm gonna go to sleep tonight and wake up a year later!
I guess fast time travel is a fact of life but don't you wish sometimes it would slow down a little so you could enjoy it?
**
I got my car car on Friday like I said. Love it!! I had a drove of it too and found it a lot more comfortable than my mums car. So when I get home I'm gonna ring up for driving lessons. I reckon once I get use to everything, I won't wanna not drive!!
I'm gonna head off. We have a visitor and I don't wanna be rude.
Be good, have fun and keep safe.

New Car
Hey everyone,
Sorry it's been a few days since I last posted. To be honest, my life hasn't been exciting enough to post anything. For the first time in ages, I have something really exciting to tell you all about.
Tomorrow morning at ten o'clock, I am picking up my first, very own car! Yes you read correctly, I got a car. Well, my parents brought it for me. Its a green Sususki Swift Cino. It's ten years old and done like 180 thousand kilometers but its in really good condition. I love it.
I'm not really feeling too crash hot, getting over a little cold. So I'm gonna head off for today.
Be good, have fun and keep safe.

Music
Hey everyone,
A friend told me about this awesome band the other day called 'Marianas Trench' and so I checked them out, best thing I did all day. Really cool music. I love them. Sing Sing is one of my favourite songs of theirs. Oh and Cross My Heart is AWESOMEEEE!
Some other bands/singers I love are; Rise Against, The Jonas Brothers (yes, yes - I know. A teeny-bop per band but I seriously love them), Chester See, All American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, Taylor Swift, Kate Voegele and many many more wonderful artists.
Music, like many other people, is one of my favourite things. I love it. It's so nice to sit and listen to some good music while you write.
That's my paradise; a laptop, some music, a good snack and drink and something comfortable to sit in. Oh and the weather needs to be not too hot but not cold either. That would be absolutely perfect. So perfect.
***
I've been really good with my food over the past couple of days. And, I've exercised. I'm going to continue and then next Monday I'll hop on the scales and see how I've gone. I'll let you know.
Monday 14th September: I weighed 90.4kg (I've gained :S)
I have to head off now but I'll post again soon.
Be good, have fun and keep safe.
